Revised caption
I completely misread this image of Britannia No 70011 Hotspur which was at Norwich and in 1961 sent to March and in 1963, to Carlisle. Mark Hambly has put me right (thank you):
Very late in the loco's operational life, with nameplates and smokebox number plate removed and the second vehicle (behind an ex-LMS TPO) is a BR Mk.2 BFK in blue and grey livery, so probably 1966 onwards.
No overhead wires which means north of Weaver Junction and with six running lines, almost certainly on the stretch between Farington and the viaduct over the Ribble south of Preston.
Excellent! The BFK may have been added as ECS or for the guard to ride in. Now for transfer to the section "Parcels Traffic in BR Days". Photo author's collection.
